Advanced College Prep Diploma Requirements

An Advanced College Preparatory Diploma will be awarded to a student who satisfactorily completes 26 units of high school courses. These students must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA on the LMA weighted 5.0 scale, and no more than one grade below 75. These courses must include the following:

  • 4 CP English

  • 4 Math (Algebra I, Algebra II, & Geometry required)

  • 4 Science (3 labs required; no more than 2 courses from the same field)

  • 3 Social Studies (choose from: U.S. History | World History | Government & Economics | Personal Finance)

  • 2 Foreign Language (Same language required; 3 units recommended)

  • 1 Bible (recommended elective)

  • 1 Physical Education

  • 1 Computer Science

  • 1 Fine Arts (choose from: Art Appreciation | Music | Speech & Drama)

  • 5 Electives (additional)
