 Middle School Principal 

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced candidate to lead our Middle School division.

The Middle School Principal is responsible for leading all aspects of  academic, operational, and cultural life for middle school students and their parents, as well as middle school faculty and staff.

Bus Driver (s)

Part-Time*

We are currently seeking qualified applicants for a bus driver position (potentially multiple positions). Applicants must be able to drive both morning and afternoon routes.

  • Morning routes run from 7:05 AM until approximately 7:45 AM.

  • Afternoon routes run from 2:20 PM until approximately 3:30 PM.

*Though this position is classed as part-time, applicants qualified for additional open roles who are interested in full-time opportunities will be given priority consideration, particularly those interested in our open Maintenance Supervisor position listed below.

Requirements

  • A valid CDL-Class B license with the Airbrake endorsement, as well as the P (passengers) and S (school bus/students) endorsements.

  • Clean driving record

  • Experience preferred

  • Compliance with all SC DMV rules, regulations, and laws for transporting students

Maintenance Supervisor

Full-Time

We are currently seeking applicants for a maintenance supervisor. Primary duties include executing—or overseeing the execution of—general, daily upkeep and repairs to our physical property and campus facilities. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining and repairing machines, mechanical equipment, and buildings;

  • Predicting, inspecting, and diagnosing problems pertaining to physical property, facilities, and utility systems, in whole and in part, to ensure they remain safe, secure, and well-maintained;

  • Recommending quick, cost-effective solutions (and procuring estimates for outsourced labor and materials) to the Head of School and Finance Director; also responsible for executing approved solutions and communicating regularly with the Finance Director regarding cost estimates and timely payment of all maintenance-related bill;

  • Performing preventive maintenance and service to campus property;

  • Assembling any machinery or equipment, as needed;

  • Ordering parts, supplies, or equipment, as needed;

  • Working closely with other school organizations and departments to provide and coordinate support needed for special functions;

  • Keeping detailed records of completed tasks, as well as all costs incurred;

  • Ensuring compliance with all applicable safety regulations and department rules; and

  • Other duties as assigned.

Physical labor is required for this position, as is a flexible disposition. This position will/may be required to work when LMA is closed, which may include holidays, weekends and extended hours in summer.  Availability to attend events at any/all campuses/venues, during both regular and irregular hours is required.

Head Coach: Varsity Volleyball

Part-Time

We are currently seeking applicants for the position of Head Varsity Volleyball Coach. Primary duties include leading, developing, and overseeing all aspects of the varsity volleyball program while promoting excellence in athletics, academics, character, and sportsmanship. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Planning, organizing, and conducting all varsity volleyball practices, games, and team activities;

  • Developing student-athletes' volleyball skills, teamwork, leadership, discipline, and sportsmanship;

  • Creating and implementing practice plans, game strategies, and player development programs;

  • Supervising and evaluating assistant coaches and collaborating with other coaches within the volleyball program;

  • Maintaining effective communication with student-athletes, parents, school administration, faculty, officials, and opposing schools;

  • Promoting and enforcing all school, conference, and athletic department policies and procedures;

  • Coordinating team travel, scheduling, equipment needs, uniforms, and game-day operations;

  • Assisting with offseason training, conditioning programs, camps, clinics, and player recruitment efforts as appropriate;

We are currently seeking applicants for our Kindergarten Classroom Assistant Pool. Primary duties include supporting kindergarten teachers in providing a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that promotes the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of young students. Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Assisting the classroom teacher with daily instructional activities, lessons, and learning centers;
